NCSD Families,
Yesterday was a historic day for our school district. Thanks to the support of all of you and the Novi community, NCSD passed our 2025 Bond program! This will bring world-class facilities and opportunities to our children and help us continue our positive momentum. Thank you to each of you who helped provide feedback, talk about it with your neighbors, stay informed and ask great questions, and every little thing that was done to support this bond passage. We are truly blessed to be part of a community that is united in a vision of educational excellence, and we cannot thank you enough for all that you have done!
Our construction and design partners, our staff, and our leadership team are excited and ready to get to work. As a school district, we want to bring you in and help you be part of this exciting program, so we will keep you well informed as things get started and we begin executing the plan. Again, we want to thank you with the most sincere gratitude, and we look forward to the exciting things to come!

Haapala named Dean of Novi Woods
Megan Haapala
Dean of Students, Novi Woods Elementary School
Megan joined NCSD in 2017. Previously, she taught in multiple school districts, both in and out of state. She has been an elementary classroom teacher, a K-4 ELD teacher, and a Success Coach before moving into her current role of Elementary Dean. She loves building relationships with staff, students, and their families and cannot wait to continue supporting the Novi Woods community. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time outside and visiting local parks with her family.
“I am thrilled to continue supporting the Novi Woods community in my new role as Dean," Megan said. "I look forward to welcoming everyone back in August!”
